Do children need more fat as % of diet?

Postby sustainli » Fri Jul 06, 2018 7:31 am

I have read conflicting info written that suggests children eating a WFPB diet should also eat low fat (10%) and other WFPB resources that suggest higher amounts (25%). Are the dietary guidelines different for children? Any difference in the types of plant fats?

No they do not need more fat in their diet than adults once weaned.

Ieff wrote about it here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=5928&hilit=Kids+fat+diet#p40356
