Loose stools--not enough fats?

Postby Gwen » Mon Sep 14, 2020 10:50 am

Hi Jeff,
I had my gallbladder taken out 12 yrs. ago. Digestion pretty much ok. 2 yrs ago I had a complete hysterectomy. I've gained some weight since then, but every time I try to cut out fats to lose weight, my stools get very loose. Is it possible that since I no longer have a gallbladder, my bile needs a certain amount of fats so make normal stools? If so, how can I loose weight now? ...and could my hysterectomy have anything to do with this digestion problem?
Thanks for any insights,
Gwen
