Calories from Fat

Hi Jeff,

I’ve been watching your dvds during the quarantine. They’re so great, and got me excited about cooking in a way I haven’t felt in a while. We’ve made all of the basic meals, except for soup, and even made the burgers and steak fries. Fantastic stuff.

In your Shopping School dvd, you talk about limiting the fat from calories to no more than 20% of the total calories. However, I no longer see this on nutrition labels. Did the FDA do away with this or something? And if so, do you have a new recommendation?

Thanks for the great work,
shermanesqu

Yes, the label has changed.

This link is my discussion on how to use my guidelines on the new label
