Question regarding the posted study on DHA Hutchinson

Postby mkh9 » Fri Nov 22, 2019 5:05 pm

Hi Jeff,
I read the article on DHA from fish causing an increase in prostate cancer in men. However, since fish have a variety of pollutants this may be a confounder of that study. Do you know of any studies on DHA from algae? I read that having a good Omega 3 index was important as is DHA. I did email the author. I will see if I get a response to whether they studied DHA from algae. I hope I am following the rules.
thanks,

There is no good/credible evidence for either testing for or supplementing with DHA.

This is a good place to start along with the links within the thread.
