Minimum wage and public health

Postby LarryB » Sun Aug 11, 2019 6:12 pm

Hi, Jeff! There is some data that a higher minimum wage is associated with better public health. I wonder if a higher minimum wage would make restaurant-eating more expensive (and less available due to restaurant closures), which would lead to lower intake of salt, sugar, oils and (maybe) meat. I can't find any data or discussion of this online. Are you aware of any information about this topic?

Not my area of expertise.

I simple PubMed or Google Scholar search produces quite a bit of research on the topic.
