Whole Grain pasta

In another of your threads, you advised avoiding flour, even whole grain flour, but then you made an exception for whole grain pasta. Why is that? I have McDougall's MWL book, and cannot find that exception.

There have been minor changes along the way in a few areas.

The MWL book is excellent. However, after about 10 years of implementing the program, this newsletter came out, updating the guidelines
