Microwave Cooking and Nutrients

Postby rickfm » Sun Dec 09, 2018 4:05 pm

I thought this was a myth that had been busted.

I seem to recall an actual lab report, a pdf file, that showed the level of nutrients in vegetables cooked with boiling, steaming and microwave. It showed that for some foods boiling and steaming removed more nutrients than microwaving.

I would be lost without my microwave.

Everyone is looking for clickbait to increase their exposure and income and since truly new news in this field is rare, the next best thing is to keep reviving dead, disproven theories and old myths
