low salicylate diet

Hi Jeff,

What are your thoughts on a low salicylate diet? Do you think enough is known about salicylate sensitivity that it is a "real" medical entity?

And if so, do you think the diet lists are likely anywhere near accurate, or really based on a lot of anecdotal evidence?

Any hard science here?
