1/14/12 368 lbs
One of my goals this year is to jornal the year to keep track of my progress towards my ultimate goal of looseing 175 lbs. On Jan 1st I weighed 375 lbs at 5'11" that gives me the BMI of way to damn much. Im not new to Mcdougal but I am new to really enjoying the food. I have bought several cookbooks and thru various websites includeing this one I have found many recipes that I really like and am enjoying experimenting with with trying different ones. The new pressure cooker is making a big difference in being able to cook in a much faster time so I dont have get home at 6 and not eat till 8.
My first weigh in was Jan 8 and I weighed 368 lbs so down 7. I have to two slip ups...a bag of cheetos which kept me up all night with stomach cramps and a sausage bisket That I should not have ate and paid for also. I weigh in again tomorow morning so wish me luck

Good to see you here Phil - I will bet that soon you will be enjoying the food more - I think it is partly what we tell ourselves. I still have the 'want to eat cookies and if I can't I am deprived' thought running through my head, but then I am a little bit OCD. I made Happy Herbivore's bean cookies, which are pretty healthy, but we still ate too many, so I won't make them again for quite a while.

Welcome to the forums. Always glad to have others here getting healthier. You might also try getting rice cooker that has a steamer and have it set to have your meal done by time you get home. I love that setting on mine.
