Just wondering if you found a good stuffed pepper recipe. I've got a bowlful of peppers sitting on the kitchen counter waiting for me to find the right stuffing for dinner. So far, the recipes I've accumulated incude the one from the McDougall cookbook, a Mexican stuffed peppers recipe from the newsletters, and a potato stuffed peppers recipe also from the newsletters. All sound good but I have to pick one (or find yet another choice).

What did you do with yours?

Hi Chile -- I made up my own recipe -- cooked some lentils and brown rice, added corn, diced tomatoes, and chile peppers. It turned out kind of dry, so if I try again, I will probably add some tomato sauce to the mix. My sister loved it, and ate the leftovers for 2 more meals.

Thanks for your support Michelle and Fulenn! Speaking of losing inches vs. losing weight -- when I had my monthy weigh/measure at the beginning of November, I had lost 5.8 lbs. since October weigh in, but only lost 1/2 inch here and there. During September, I didn't have much weight loss, but lost several inches. So it does seem to fluctuate a good bit.

I've been eating simple rice dishes and potatoes for the most part this past week, and trying to have either a salad or some cooked veggie like broccoli or cauliflower with every meal.

Ate SAD food for Thanksgiving and I ache all over today. My back has been bothering me anyway this week -- set it off with too much of the squat machine at the gym. So today is back to McDougall food. Started off with my usual oatmeal, with leftover cranberry relish on it --yum! Lunch was black bean soup over rice. Snack was sweet potato and pineapple. Dinner may be some herbal tea -- tummy doesn't feel very good today after yesterday's foray into SAD food.

Oooo! Cranberry relish on oatmeal sounds really good. I'm going to have that tomorrow morning.

Glad today was not a nibble-on-bad-leftovers kind of day. :)
