I think if you look in the Lounge at a post talking about Economics, around beginning of Sept, well, it got quite nasty & I believe that is why he may not be posting here.

Too bad, I enjoy reading his posts.

I miss Kirk's posts, too. I saw that thread on economics and steered clear! That's a subject about which people have very strong feelings... I didn't want to get caught in a fire fight.

Kirk is a strongly opinionated man, as are many of the members here. He has found himself embroiled over politics before and always gets his two cents in. But that is a parallel issue to diet and nutrition. I have a feeling it revolves more about that than anything else. I hope this stirs him up enough to get him to comment and tell me I'm wrong. We shall see. Come on back, Kirk. Finish what you started and be the inspirational figure we need you to be.

I really enjoy your posts, too, Kirk. I'm sorry those people wrote such mean messages to you. If I had known how things were going to go, I never would have started that thread.

My husband and children and I were shocked to read what those people wrote. My daughter commented that she never would have thought McDougallers would be so unkind.

Kirk, you truly are an inspiration. Like others, I really hope you will come back.:)
