Rosey wrote:HUGS!!! Checking in didn't realize it had been quite so long. I haven't lost any more pound wise but I'm losing inches still so that's great. I love seeing pics of me with my hubby behind me now because I'm realizing I'm getting closer to his size. I can actually wear his T-shirts now. That's a great feeling. I'm excited for Vegfest this year Dr. McDougall, Lani and Chef AJ are all going to be here. WOOT!!! Love it.

Ok I clearly got to get on here and keep myself accountable. I went back to eating out to much and gained it was all Vegan but vegan doesn't mean healthy and weight reducing. There is one place at my new town that actually has GF oil free pasta's that's super cool. I need to work on getting some recipes that I like that are more McDougall been eating a lot of Teriyaki type meals.

Today:

Breakfast 2 baked sweet potatoes.
Lunch black beans, brown rice, corn and salsa mixed together.
Haven't had dinner yet. Might walk to store and buy some more potatoes. and have that with veggies that are in my frig. I was at 305lbs on Monday.

Hi Rosey
Nice to see you back again.
Since you probably aren't giving up visiting with these people in the future what's your plan for eating McDougall going forward. A lot of long term success with this program is planning and preparation, at least till you have made it enough of a lifestyle to not even think about what to eat.

I told my husband I might just start doing salad only when I go out with them with no dressing and eat something either before or after that is more filling or a salad and have a baked potato with me in my bag. Or talk them into going to Sweet Tomatoes if we are in Portland area or Chickpea in Salem area both of those I can eat really good and oil free. Haven't found a good spot in Eugene yet which is where a lot of my family lives but my Mom is pretty good about fixing something I can have when we go that direction.

Ok people what do you guys drink besides water. I got myself back on ginger sodas and soda soda which probably isn't helping me any but I get very tired of just water.

I've been on a curry kick lately too need to learn how to make it without the nut butters.

You need to lose the sweet cravings. It won't take long if you stay away from them for a while.
