Breakfast: o/m an dpineapples
Snack: banana and apple
Lunch: rice and veggies
Late afternoon: veggie wrap (no cheese or dressing) from Mr. Sub..
Supper: vegetable with crusty Italian bread.

I was rushing around cleaning orders to be filled before Easter and a lot of customers who wanted product called for delivery today. It's frustrating I was not the busy at the beginning of the week but now they all want it today. It was tough being firm and disappointing them I'm only a one man band.
Besides, I was feeling quite tired yesterday. I have to do a bunch of personal and home chores today such as getting snow tires taken off. After that, I can look forward to a productive and restful weekend.
Sunday should be interesting as we are taking the dogs to a behavioral seminar. They don't have any great issues but just want it so that we have the last word on anything. Alba wants to follow his nose at the exclusion of everything else and Della wants to be where we are all the time.

Breakfast: o/m and pineapples
Snack: banana
Lunch: Lentil stew over rice
Supper: Same stew over mashed potatoes.
We had company yesterday and I'm afraid some things were not good, some baked potato chips (way too salty) and some red wine in the afternoon and some beer in the evening.

Walks with the dogs are going well, muscles I havne't used in a while are making their existence known :-)
Our yard is not completely fenced in yet just waiting to install a pole for the gate section. Unfortunately, that area never gets sun and is till frozen about a foot down. So we have a pen to put the dogs in when we are in the yard. As I went to rtetrieve them the got by me and ran. One came back and I put the leash on her. The one I worried about kept on running but came back and dashed out again. I jumped in the car and called DW to let her know what happened and she went out to the back street . Just I was driving off it showed up from the neighbour's yard (they have Shelties) and ran to my wife. As we have had him for only a month, we were afraid he would keep going following his nose but this eems to prove he has been accustomized to us and the yard. Thank goodness.

Lunch bean salad and crock potatoes witha split pea spread and very low fat whole grain crackers.
Snack: ana pple
Supper: some more bean salad
It was a topsy turvy day yesterday as DW and I took the two dogs to a training seminar. It wasn't the usual obedience school but a talk but a dog behaviour specialist. He was amusing and really got points across. First was the discussion and demonstration, then after lunch a hands on with your own dog, DW and I had one each, where he showed what to do about everyone's special issues that their dogs (or handlers) had. It was most informative, and it was lovely to see the dogs we have seen on the local pet finder boards when considering our own dogs.
All four of us were done in last evening. I did have a little blip on my weight last weekend but it has gone this weekend. With dogs you can't be sedentary.

I think I missed a day somewhere along the line.
breakfast: o/m and pineapple
snack: apple and Italian roll
Lunch: Minestrone soup and Italian roll
Supper: mashed potatoes, veggies and beans
Snack: nuked potatoes.

As you can see I ate way too much and I haven't jumped on the scales to verify it, my weight has declined very very slowly and I like it that way. All I know is that I am enjoying the heady high of compliance to the plan that I had in the first three months. I am getting much more exercise since we adopted the dogs. However, temptations have crept in, where there weren't previously for bad stuff. Temptations for sweets, and savoury snacks not for any SAD food, I have been away from that too long to want any of that. With the dogs our life has taken on more regimen which is a good thing but I am feeling a little tired easily, I will have to get some b12 into me more regularly, that usually come from b12 enhanced nutritional yeast. In the old when I felt like this I would be mad at myself and accomplish nothing so I will kind to myself and just watch my intake that much more in a focused way. In fact I have set a mini goal for myself to lose two pounds by the weekend. So I will be 255 lbs by then. Here goes, wish me luck and motivation.

Thanks for that Carolynne, I felt better yesterday for making that commitment.
Breakfast: o/m and pineapples
Snack: banana and raw veggies
Lunch: A flask of delicious soup don't know what was in it but DW makes them tasty.
Afternoon: a plain baked potato and an apple.
Supper was rice with tvp in tomato sauce, it looks like steak tartar but tasted very good.
Just staying on course makes me feel better.

Here I am Melinda, thanks for asking. The dogs are fine and enjoying our daily rituals. We are hoping to take them on a six legged hike fund raiser next weekend.
Where have I been? That's a good question. Well I have been astray is what I would call it. I know better but some bad habits crept into my journey and I thought I could get along just fine....NOT! I haven't increased my weight just haven't lost any and its time to abstain from certain foods that I think I enjoy, no meat or dairy but some processed stuff I could do without as well as some sweet treats. Daily exercise with the mutts really helps and of course is a good time for more physical work in the yard etc.
DW suggested I get back on the journal and here I am, with a new resolve. No matter how many times you fall off the horse you gotta back on....... their no other choice. So here I am.
Now to look back and see what I missed with your journals.
Cheers

Thank you frozen veg. It did niggle at me that I strayed but the nice thing is the weight stayed the same and now I can continue the journey. I've seen a change just in the last three days. The thing that helped me not be discouraged is that we wlak our dogs every day, DW twice, me once (because of work schedule). It has really helped in that though the weight drop is not significant I am wearing clothes that couldn't wear three months ago when I was still the same weight. So the girth has obviously reduced. Now to focus on implementing both diet to it fullest and continue exercising.
yesterday:
Breakfast: o/m: pineapples and banana
Lunch: rice past with a squash sauce and broccolli
Supper: rice and beans

nuked potatoes and and an apple for snacks during the day.

Staying the course, I know a "journal" means daily but life gets in the way :-). Breakfast is the same o/m, pineapple and now chopped banana, never get tired of it. Routine is very different from when I started this journey in the New Year. 6 a.m. two medium size dogs "suggest" we go for a walk. So both of us get up get dressed and walk about a mile down to the river dam and back, always a pretty view, the beagle mix is a "houndful" all nose and although he never barks much he goes ballistic when he sees a rabbit or a squirrel. They do their business, thank goodness we get so many plastic bags with our vegs and fruit, and we are back in about half an hour. I hit th shower and then breakie and off to make some money (hopefully). Yesterday was a full day, loading 35 cases of cans of food and then unloading them at the customer's, so I am getting my exercise. DW packs a nice lunch, fruit , raw veggies and rice and/or with veggies and beans all seasoned tastily.
Supper is the same sometimes with pasta and sauces such as butternut or tomato.
Life is good. Weight is stationery but seems to be edging down. I need to work on getting another 5 or 10 off.
