Walked on the beach this morning for about 30 minutes. Had my great gazpacho and hummus sand wiches for lunch. Supper is refried beans in tortilla wrappers with veggies on top. A good day and good start to vacation.

Amy....welcome back! Guess you can tell since it's been awhile that I haven't been on here much.

I took Prilosec for over 5 years and although the heartburn was better I still lived on Tums. Not anymore thankfully! I stopped the Prilosec and the only time I get it now is if some ingredient offplan is in the food. Trying to stay steady at my current weight, too hot to eat much or exercise and I don't want to lose anymore! Made one of Jeff's recipes today and will freeze the extra since we are waiting for a new rv fridge. Can't store much right now so it has to be frozen. I made a version of his Mexican Fiesta and left the rice out for freezing so I can change the starch out with whatever I am in the mood for! KISS is the way I am eating in this hot weather. Anyway good to see you back! You do the have the power!!!! :D

A cloudy day at the beach, so we will head up the road to Portland (Maine). We can do some walking at the huge mall, and go to Whole Foods to stock up on some things I can't find near me. I wish we had a WF closer. There's also a great veg rest. Downtown that will make anything vegan if you ask. Low fat, if not no-fat also.
Walked on the beach again yesterday and will walk again tonight at low tide if the thunderstorms hold off.
Did not sleep last night (again). Fell asleep around 2, fitfully. What to do? I don't want to get in the habit of having some wine before bed, but that may be what I have to do.
