adding a URL with a descriptor
Posted: Tue Jul 08, 2014 9:43 pmHow do I get a link descriptor into a msg? I'm used to using the URL tag that I know from other forums. The following should result in a clickable desription of the link i.e. the address doesn't display, just the clickable descriptor. Here's my attempt but it doesn't work as expected:
[url="http://www.nealhendrickson.com/mcdougall/030700puhowdoIgainweight.htm"]How Do I Gain Weight on the McDougall Diet?[/url]
I also tried using the html tag:
<a href="http://www.nealhendrickson.com/mcdougall/030700puhowdoIgainweight.htm">How Do I Gain Weight on the McDougall Diet?</a>
Anybody know how to do this?
Just checked the phpBB site and will try without the quotes and it works!!!
