Here's a before and after photo. (btw how do you get the photo to appear without having to go to a link?)

First photo is about 8 years ago when I was 217 lbs. Second photo is a couple of weeks ago at 157 (I'm 5'8"). I took a selfie just before I was going out dancing!

I'm 70 this year, I still can't believe it. Thank you Dr. McDougall for giving me a new life!

Ras, Yes you have hope, lot's of hope. I never worry about a recurrence now because I know that I'm eating the best possible way to have a long, healthy life. Good for you for eating this way, it's so great.

Congrats! In your current pic you look like a movie star, specifically one of the ladies who I see in a lot of Hallmark Channel movies, Barbara Niven.
