hubby's success on MY w.o.e.

Postby soul food » Fri Jan 25, 2013 11:47 pm

My husband agreed to go along with my new way of eating (WOE) for breakfast, dinner and weekend eating--basicially all home cooked meals we eat together. He would continue having some meat for lunch, like a chicken salad sandwich. I was so glad as this would definitely make life easier. So he has now lost 15 pounds without trying to and the most unexpected result is that he no longer feels stiff in the morning. My husband works a job where he is physically active all day and so being older, he feels stiff in the morning and usually sits on a back massager that has heat to get him loosen up for the day's work ahead. Yesterday he said he realized that he had forgotten to do that for the last few days and when he asked himself why, he realized it was because he no longer felt stiff in the mornings.

Wow! That is a great testimonial. will tell this story to my many friends who struggle to stay on calorie restricting diets. They will be relieved to know that your husband got these wonderful results while still eating one meal a day that is not McDougall compliant.

For me it's a terrific personal motivator.

Tell your husband Congratulations from me. He must be so stoked!
