Two weeks of a low fat vegan diet and I and already results

Postby Girl N Pearls » Mon Jan 21, 2013 12:37 pm

Hi! I just wanted to share how much better I feel after only two weeks of vegan eating. I have not stepped on the scale at all but I can tell I have lost weight. Clothes fit a tad better and some activities are just easier because I have alot less swelling all over my body. My husband says he can tell I have lost fat as well. I have not had any attacks of angina over these past two weeks and I have more energy in general. I feel like my body is breathing if that makes sense. This morning I noticed that I could sit with my legs crossed on my bed while I used my computer and my legs never fell asleep. Before I could barely sit like this for more than 5-10 minutes with out my legs falling asleep and I would have to move them around to wake them up so I could continue. I don't know how my new way of eating effects this but it does so thats all I care about! :D Anyway just wanted to share how great I am feeling here on the two week mark of following Dr. McDougall's advice.

Wow, you're off to a great start - and having early results like yours is so rewarding - I'm so glad you can appreciate the positive changes.

I enjoyed reading your blog. It looks like you are doing great! What lentil loaf recipe did you decide to make?

Great job! I can attest to the swelling issue. My wife and I both swell when eating meat or dairy(not sure which....it's all the same :)), it's nice waking up and being able to bend your fingers....Keep up the good work!!!
