Four year report

Postby MINNIE » Thu Jan 05, 2017 8:11 am

Actually there is nothing new to report, so I am going to say the same old thing LOL.

I still eat 100 % on plan, following the regular McDougall plan. I have no cravings for off-plan food, and have had no problems at all in adhering to this way of eating. I prepare all my own meals, and enjoy doing this. I don't need restaurants or take-out food, and save lots of money by taking control of my own food supply. I plan to continue the same way for the rest of my life.

That's all there is to say, but of course that won't stop me from saying more! For the benefit of those who may be new to eating this way, or are doubting that anything can help them, I want to say this.

I feel great and enjoy my life (and food) immensly. I don't need any medications, and haven't even used any over the counter remedies in the past year.

Considering that I just passed my 70th birthday, that is saying something. Pre-McDougall, my bathroom at home looked like a pharmacy, with prescription and non-prescription pills for pain, digestive problems, allergies, etc. Now I don't buy them because I simply do not NEED them.

Thank you to the McDougalls, and the whole plant-based community, and of course all the plants that provide us with the fuel and medicine for a healthy life.

Peace, love, and starch to all !!!!!!
MINNIE

Congratulations Minnie. Great post. Thanks for sharing.

Time and adherence. The long term. That is the key.

This is not a fad diet. This is a change for life. And it is easy and inexpensive. What a combination!

I love hearing from people a little older than me that this works for them. I am 61 and was concerned that age and hormone levels and lack of much muscle mass would prevent anymore weight loss. I love this WOE and even if I don't lose the 25 pounds more that I want to lose I will stay with this for life because I feel so much better and I truly believe this is the perfect human diet. Thanks for your story, especially since you have been doing this for 4 years, you are an inspiration.

The kind of story I never tire of hearing.

Fortunately, yours (Minnie) are the typical results.

So sad, so few know about food poisoning and how to cure it.

Spread the good news.
