I've done this a couple of times before. The first time a few years back as part of a group challenge. I'm going to eat as close to "whole" as I can for the month. I'm going to record what I eat daily. I'm going to weigh myself every day (except that I forgot to this morning). I know there's differing opinions on frequency of weighing, but daily works for me.

Why is this month different than the way I always eat? I've been eating bread lately. When I was a SAD eater, and you asked my what my favorite food was, "toast" would have been the reply. Of course, back them toast meant toast and butter, sometimes with jelly. I no longer eat butter, I still seem to really like toast. When I say toast, I mean these Ezekiel english muffins.

Also, I've put on a few pounds during this pandemic. Time to tighten up the program!

So, in memory of Sactobob, here goes...

I did Sactobob's zero processed challenge back in the day, myself! Got below 190 for the first time in my adult life. It was good ole Sactobob that introduced me to the G-BOMBS as well.

Beautiful! What weight/bmi are you aiming for?
~ The best thing I did was to break-up with food; it was an unhealthy relationship.
~ You can't let go while still trying to hold on.
~ Focus on less...less desire, less obsession, less holding on.
~ "Learn to care less about food."

Hi Susan!

I didn't have a particular number in mind when I decided to do the "unprocessed" February. It was more that I was aware that I had been trending up in 2020 and I wanted to turn it around. My weight app says that In December I averaged 155 lbs.

Now that you mention it - I think that a good goal would be getting under 145 lbs., which is where I was at in 2019. Not just getting there - but staying there...

Logging everything makes me more mindful of what I'm eating. After a month, I hope to drop the logging but keep the same eating patterns.

Thanks!
