regular program and MWL

Whats the difference between the MWL program and the regular program. I would like to lose weight, but I want to incorporate whole wheat pasta with vegetables at one meal a day. I've been on the program ,with some mistakes for 3 days and have lost 1.5 lbs.

Whole Grain Pasta is an acceptable choice for the starch component of a meal, within the MWL guidelines. To get a picture of the adjustments for MWL vs the regular McDougall program, you can review the checklists linked below.
