Help/Guidance - Am I doing this right?

Postby jesskah » Tue Aug 08, 2017 8:19 pm

Hi All,

After a bit of help. I am doing the MWL Program and have selected 8 Main dish recipes to change up and eat throughout the month. I am hoping someone would be so kind to let me know if the following recipes are suitable for the MWL plan?

I have selected from the McDougall books mainly, but there is one or two that aren't from the books and hoping I am doing this right. Any advice would be appreciated :)

Thank you!

There's a PDF file that used to be prominently displayed that showed all the MWLP compatible recipes in all the McDougall books through the Quick and Easy Cookbook, but today I had to use the search feature to find it. One of the long time forum members (ras?
I always forget the name she currently goes by) compiled it years ago.

There's also a page another member (Letha) made that showed all the MWLP recipes in the newsletters up until the time she left the forum. Lani Muelrath posted it to her web site a few years ago:

From what I can see, the recipes you chose all fall within the MWLP guidelines. And don't sweat it! You can make your meals as simple as a bowl of rice or some mashed potatoes topped with a bunch of veggies and a sauce or MWLP compatible gravy on it. But if you love trying new recipes, you now have hundreds, maybe thousands, to easily choose from. :)

Letha's list is posted in the forums in the Food and Recipes section as a sticky

Thanks, Jeff. I was looking for it on the main web site where it used to have a link, not in the forums.
