Burger's were created:
can of kidney beans, drained, rinsed and mashed with
3 TB Salsa
black pepper
paprika
chili powder
garlic powder
add:
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup oats
diced onion
mix and make patties (1/3 cup)
cook on non-stick pan

Fries were boiled potatoes from the fridge (could have been uncooked ones), cut up and baked on parchment paper in oven at 420 degrees, sprinkled with black pepper, paprika, garlic powder. Baked for 20 minutes, flipped and baked for 10 more minutes.

Well, almost. There were a couple of days that I veered off course.
But, it reinforced the necessity for always being prepared and showed me how much going off course can derail your progress.

Near the end of January, I weighed 173 lbs.
March 1st - 166 lbs.

I'm eating well, and I've picked up a new exercise habit. The hiking club is fun!

I'm heading in the right direction. I'm not sure if a goal of a BMI of 22 is realistic, but that's what I'm aiming for. It would require a loss of 21 more pounds to get there. As it is, I'm a couple of pounds away from getting out of the 'overweight' category.

According to this BMI calculator, my current BMI is 25.2.

BMI Categories:
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

Even though you veered off course a few times, you did very well this month! Congratulations. :)
