Wow, August is nearly over!

-1.2 this week. Not bad. 19 lbs. total weight loss since May. I'm a happy camper. :D I'm almost to my first big goal of 20 lb. weight loss. I'll keep on keeping on.

Started MWL over the 4th of July weekend at 161 pounds. Goal: 135 pounds or size 6.
Current weight: 153.4 pounds. A loss of 1.8 pounds from last week. :)
(Forgot to weigh myself yesterday! So I'm comparing my weight Saturday to Saturday.)
Female, 5'4", age 46.

Hello folks,

still here but I have taken a longer break over the summer holidays since we had several trips to Germany, then Spain (all inclusive holidays are not a good idea for me :crybaby: even though I did try and fill up on fruit and veg more than anything else. Mmmmm, water melon).

I've decided not to post today even though I did weigh this morning because it's not a realistic weight gain from 1 week to the next. Rather, I will start back at the first September weekend and will sign in regularly from then. Everybody breathe, that gives me another week to minimize the damage that 8 weeks of school holidays have done. :lol: :lol:

My other half is doing a juice reboot at the moment and DD is running a food fad on pasta and chick pea salad. Sounds like the perfect environment for my WFPD/SS meal plan :D

I had a week from hell. I did not weigh in today, but still put myself at 0 for the week. I'm sure I am up, but just not sure. We have had nothing but car issues for a couple weeks. Then the borrowed car blew a tire on the highway. Then my daughter had something thrown at her face and it hit her in the eye causing a cornea scratch that covered nearly the entire pupil. Then last night while swimming, my daughter jumped into what she thought was the deep end only to end up hurting her foot. An ER trip later, and its most likely just a bunch of bruised bones, but not totally sure even with exray. So she is on crutches. All on top of getting used to being back to school and work and learning new routines etc. Food was a back burner this week. ugh...We need a break.......

My name is Michele. I contacted this discussion board awhile ago and have decided to give it another go. I would like to follow the McDougall guidelines more thoroughly and need that extra support. I will plan on weighing in on Friday.

If there are any folks out there living in Portland, Oregon, I would love to start a support group.

Last week 169.3
Now 170.4
Goal is 134.5

Up 1.1 from last week. I am not sleeping well.
