I also purchased 6 bags of frozen Stahl Diced Sweet Potatoes. Ingredients are sweet potatoes. That is it!
For the past couple of days I have only eaten oatmeal, rice, veggies, tea, coffee, water. So I realize I will have to stop the coffee and tea but I really need to get a full detailed lecture of coffee. Coffee is my best friend. I had a hard time going from regular to decaff but I have tried and tried to go without my coffee and I have not successfully done it as yet.
Welcome Therese!! Congrats on already losing! You will continue to feel better as time goes on. There are many here who have significantly reduced their asthma symptoms getting off of animal products. On the coffee issue, take it slow. Worry about the food at this point. Once you get the food right, you can tackle the addictive caffeine. Coffee is really hard to come off of. As long as you are moving forward. I came off of decades of coffee addiction. I planned it when I had a long weekend off from work, 4 day President's day from school bus driving) and I tapered off as the preceding week went on. I had been drinking at least 2 cups a day, so I just tapered off during that week. I had some headaches, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. And what I learned is how much MORE alert I am in the am without it. I get some jokes about it but I sleep better at night and wake up better and am very alert while many co-workers drag around at 6 am coffee in hand. But worry about getting the food right first. The food is hard enough without stressing about giving up something as addictive as coffee.
