Hey everyone, I just registered so this is all new to me. I'm a stay at home mom from Toronto, Canada. I homeschool my 2 daughters and run a home daycare. Got myself a FitBit and trekking poles and have started walking for exercise. So between that and a WFPBNO diet I'm hoping to finally reached my weight loss goal. Not sure what info and format you usually go by but here ya go...

Jennifer - age 39 - 5'6"
Start weight 254.8 (April 4, 2016)
Current weight 242.6 (June 3, 2016)
Goal is 145 - 12.2 lbs lost so far
1 lb lost since last friday

Hi All,

This was a good week, down 2.5. I just needed to eat more potatoes. :-)

Here is my info

Starting weight 162.? May 13, 2016 (saw the 162 and quit reading)
Today's weight 156.6
Net loss about 6 lbs.
Current goal to see the 140's (was on a candida diet from hades last year and never got below 151, I want to see 149!), Ultimate goal to see 125. Taking things potato at a time.

I'm down a pound(-1.0), so June is starting out better than May already.

Hello everybody,

down 1 pound this week, which is incidentally the one I put on last week. :? I dabbled with juicing a bit last week but found that a) I like the fruit juices, not the veggie juices :o and b) that juicing gives me craving for other sweet food :shock:
So hey ho - back to veg on a plate over spuds/grains.

My weight beginning this week was 220 and this morning it is 216.8, so I am down 3.2 lbs.

I have been McDougalling for 3 months now and my weight stayed pretty much the same during the month of May so I began to read more of the posts and information here on this discussion board and came across Mary's Mini and thought I would try it. I have done 5 days, so am halfway through. My starch has been rice and I am having about 2 cups each meal, sometimes though I have "seconds" if I am still feeling hungry. I have rice with blueberries for breakfast, a big green salad and rice with peas for lunch, and rice dry stir fried with chopped frozen veggies (a blend of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) for my evening meal. It has certainly simplified my life!

I hope it is okay that I just jumped in here!

I weighed in at 186 and gained back the three pounds I lost last week. I thought I was sticking with the program pretty well but apparently I was not. :(

For the newcomer, I collated this from some earlier threads....

Here is a refresher on some guidelines for posting here and participating in our monthly weigh-in thread.

Our weigh in's are on Fridays and you have until 12 PM PST on Saturday to report.

Anyone is welcome to join the weekly weigh in group as long as they follow the McDougall principles. While we recommend the Maximum Weight Loss (MWL) plan, it can be any one of the McDougall program including the MWL plan, the regular McDougall plan, or Mary's Mini's, the Elimination Diet or any of the McDougall plans.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum on the guidelines for the MWL program.

In order to tally the results please submit your results by posting the total pounds you have lost or gained that week. You don't have to share your total weight if you'd rather keep that to yourself. This is an honor system so we take the gain, loss or maintain you give us in order to tally.

If you are a new member and would like to join but don't have a weight to be counted for the week then you will be counted either as a body with a zero starting weight, or when you check in for the weekly weigh in the following week. Large amounts of weight lost over a period of months or weeks, prior to joining the weekly weigh in group, will not be counted towards the weekly total.

If you measure your weight in something other than pounds please convert the measurement to pounds.

All gains will be counted towards the total to encourage weekly participation. Posting is encouraged whether it's a gain, a loss, or a maintain.

You are welcome to share as little or as much as you want on your weight loss journey here in this thread. We encourage members of the group to talk to each other, cheer each other on and set goals together.

This thread is for the mutual support of all who wish to participate.

Thank you so much Jeff for posting that. I never did get back online to finish my opening post. It has been an insane week. We have 3 more days of school, then its out for 3 months and I can relax a little...hopefully although I will still have some work this summer.
