I, unfortunately, have gained 1.2 pounds. But it's a lot better than I think it could have been, since I had a very stressful job interview on Monday and ate a lot out of nerves--and maybe too much wine, too.

Things will be better this week!

I'm sure they will. You'll be back to putting me to shame in no time. But just make sure the, "Too much wine," is not BECAUSE OF the, "Stressful job interview," or you're really in trouble.

OK, you're onto me. Vice versa would be worse, of course.

Maybe only in retrospect, though. It might make the interview more enjoyable. Anyway, in Alaska it would only be because it was wine instead of whiskey. I guess now that you've joined us in the lower 48 you've become all refined and proper, huh?

Hi folks,

down 1 1/2 pounds this week. We were off on Easter break this week and last so there were a few more coffee outings than usual. Still, going the right way at least. I've also noticed that I've been dipping into the bread basket more than usual, so I'll keep an eye on this this week.

Does anybody else find it's easier when you're working? I've got my food for the day laid out and I make sure that at the end of the day I've had my 3 pieces of fruit as snacks. When I'm on holidays I really don't eat enough fruit because there are other things to snack on on hand :\ Not a good thing to have access to the kitchen all day. I should start working on a strategy for the summer break to make sure that I don't have 8 weeks of convenience snacking then. Fingers crossed we'll have a dry summer so that I can include more walking as well. The weather's not been terribly good and I've been making excuses for not walking (or going to the gym, which makes no sense at all since it's indoors).

Have a great week ahead everybody.

Kerstin :-D

YES!! Being a school district employee I feel your pain! But I notice it in my kids too. I will feed them breakfast and an hour later they are starving....and instead of 1 sandwich they'll try to have 3 each! Wait guys, if you were in school right now, you would not be hungry nor eating 3 sandwiches. Go find something to do! I need to tell myself the same thing.

I am late posting! Had to have an IVIG infusion and forgot. At least I won't affect the outcome as I stayed the same this week :( Better than a gain!

Hehe, don't they just. The amount of grapes and hummus sandwiches we've gone through is ridiculous. Thank goodness it's back to school next week.

And hey, look at us, we've overtaken the March total already. Positively on fire! :D

Shoot, I'm up 2 pounds this week:

4/14/2016 218.4
4/21/2016 220.4 (+2.0)

I have some good ideas of what happened, but I didn't deserve this much of a kick in the pants.

I'm sorry about screwing up the totals this week. I'll try to reclaim them next week.

I'd better get my head in the game or I'll end up losing them the same way Atkins lost his. And I won't be able to post them then.

Sorry again. Congratulations to all you losers!

Hi everyone,

I was out of town last week, so catching up today. 6 lbs lost in last two weeks.

61 years old, 5'5". On Starch Solution 14 weeks. Total loss 31 lbs.

began at 285, today 254, goal 140.

I'm always worried it won't work, then I step on the scale and I'm delighted and relieved.

Janeykhan :)
