Are starch measurements equal or use Cronometer calories?

Postby Paul21 » Mon Jan 11, 2016 8:28 pm

I'm trying to follow the MWL guidelines and I find I am getting overfull, which is unusual for me. I wonder if I am eating too much.

Previous posts use:
Breakfast: Whole Grains (2 cups) 320 calories
Lunch: Starchy Vegetable (2 cups) 320 calories
Dinner: Starchy Vegetable (2 cups) 320 calories

My question is, are the Starch/Grains all equal, just get 2 cups worth, or should I use Cronometer and get 320 calories worth?
Oatmeal vs Red River
Sweet Potato vs Quinoa vs Rice

They are all different. Am I overthinking this?

We are supposed to eat until we are satisfied so just find the amount that you are happy with. I like this plan because I've never weighed or measured a single thing. You can use Cron-O-Meter if you want to but it's not part of the program to count anything.

Just make sure you are following all the rules of the MWL program, such as getting the full amount of non-starchy veggies.
