This is VERY good. Watch this if you are always on the hare trail and falling off constantly. We need to be on the tortoise trail with that shell to protect us from nay sayers. Thank you to Dr. Lisle for doing this and thanks to Gustavo who puts these on every week for us all the enjoy and learn from.

We've had illness go through our house, well only 2 of 5 members....Sad cause in the last year and half, Ive had no kids miss any school. We just haven't been sick. Anyway, hope its a great day wherever you are.

Hi, Debbie,
in Vienna/Austria it's been sunny and cold (below 0°C/32°F) for the last three days. Sadly, I can't go out because I'm still not healthy but not as ill as I was last week so I guess my weight loss is real this time.

I hope the healthy three members of your family stay healthy. In my household of two, my husband unfortunately caught my cold :(

I lost 4.4 lbs in two weeks, that would make an average weight loss of 2.2 lbs. per week.

I lost 1 pound this week.
Snow day here in western North Carolina. I am "working" from home, so far the laundry is in, the kitchen is clean, my boxes of tea are reorganized, and the report I'm supposed to be finishing up is half done.

Wow! Finally lost 1.5 lb this week! I am not sure what is different but so excited to move the scales more than 0.5 lb up or down.
From 161.5 to 160 lbs.

Down 0.2 pounds this week for a total of 2 pounds in January. Woo hoo! :D

I'm happy any time I see the scale go down. I've lost quickly and regained many, many times, and it is the most amazingly frustrating process! For those of us who say, "Oh, only one pound!" think of what one pound of butter looks like. Really, go to your refrigerator or the store, pick it up, and contemplate it. You did an amazing job if you lost a pound, or half a pound. Keep it up!

I can't wait to check my blood levels in a couple of months. And I've revised my weight loss goal up 10 pounds. I've been doing short HIIT and strength training routines and and have noticed that my body is much smaller at whatever weight now than I've been in the past at the same weight because there is so much more muscle weight. 135 may be just too darn small! (LOVE that! If anyone is interested, fitnessblender.com has a huge array of free videos from 10 minutes to much longer routines. I seriously spend only 20 minutes 3-4x a week on these routines and have seen big changes in my strength and endurance, and my body. You can find them on Youtube. The first routine I tried was the "HIIT routine for beinngers.")

Good job, everyone! And if you gained or if you struggle with sticking to the plan, here is a quote I love:

"When you eat something unplanned, does your response inspire you to try to do better next time, or does it cause feelings of helplessness and/or despair?" Sasha Loring, "Eating with Fierce Kindness"
