100 days till 2016!!!As written on my page this morning.

The end of summer, the end of the fun that goes with summer, the end of warm weather and tank tops and shorts and the end of long lazy warm evenings with my kids playing outside and eating on the deck watching the happy activity of wildlife. And it still is the end of all those wonderful things. But this year, I'm excited for fall. I'm looking forward to soups and stews, hearty and thick with crusty breads to dunk in them. Hikes around our lake watching the leaves fall to the ground. Hot cocoa for the kids by the fire to warm their bones.
This year seems different and Im not sure why. But, today marks the 100th day until the new year, 2016, begins! What will you do with these last 100 days to change your body and health? Lasting changes. Let's get head start on 2016 by already having a great foundation of habits for healthy living. Why wait until the new year begins to start making changes? Do a little or a lot and by the end of the 100 days, it wont seem like a chore or something you have to do....you're already doing it. Change 1 thing a week. If you still eat meat, how about eating less or having 1 meatless day? If you still consume dairy, how about removing it for 1 day a week? Oils? Try a new method of cooking without them. I used to think it was impossible to cook without oils, but when I do eat something cooked in oil, no matter how strong the taste of the spices or food, I taste the oil and just dont enjoy the food as much. Similar thing with cheese. It actually smells repulsive to me now. Sour and like stinky feet. Especially when cooked. Gag....
So let's begin changing our health, starting with 100 days. Let's do this!
"It's the food" It's always been the food.
