94.6 kg :D it was less this week but "manflu" pushed me towards some easy food in form of noodles.

Anyway -0.2 pound (this seems to be my steady pace this year)

Lost 1.6 for the week. It was more Thursday, I jumped on it just to see, but it being my middle daughters 8th birthday I splurged a little. Its okay, we had a great day. :) My kids are just growing up too fast.

The last two weeks have been good, bad and awful. The good is that I had another birthday and friends family and I have been celebrating this - all by eating out. I have been invited to two dinners and one lunch for my birthday - I still have one to go next week. I have done my best to stay McD - depending on the restaurant and it's sides I have gotten close but some there is not a chance. So oil in all cases and once cheese.

I always check the menus before hand and sometimes if nothing is going to work I call ahead. I ended up with cheese in my pasta primavera even though I called ahead - it's just hit or miss - as to whether they get it or pay attention?

Meanwhile, exercise has gone away and sleep has been a huge problem for me. I will be home more this week so hope to get back to all the good stuff this week and get the last lunch out over with Tuesday. Not that I am not enjoying the kindness of my friends to invite me - but oh dear!

8/20/2015 208.9 (-1.4)

When I started really doing this in 2009, after my sister died according to the standard narrative I actually got under 200, but quickly went to more calorie dense foods on the regular plan and you know the story. So this is the first time that I got under 210 using techniques most people around here are using. Still about 25 pounds overweight, but the steady slow loss makes me hopeful. Just have to keep pressing on.

I understand living in a construction zone, Jon and Barbara. The house here has been like that off and on since mid-January. We're hoping to have Phase I done by Christmas. In the meantime, keeping focused on the food has been a challenge. I've been 90-95% MWL for over a month now.

Not the greatest week, but a loss is a loss. 1.2 pounds down.

Another not good week - I had one planned additional birthday lunch and one that came out of the blue. I planned ahead on the one and ordered a caponata (eggplant) sandwich at the restaurant - all vegan but oily and bread is of course not MWL - nothing else on the Italian menu was close. The waiter came back and said they were out of both the eggplant and the bread for it. I ordered a salad and asked them to hold the anchovies and cheese - they didn't - I ate it anyway :( The other restaurant I picked at least and it does have vegan food - but still some oil - I gained weight at both but the good news, kinda of, was that this week I was better with the exercise.

Good afternoon everyone:

May I join in on the weekly weigh in. After my surgeries and gaining some weight back I am starting over again. I started doing the MWL plan last week after weighing in at 178.0. Believe me I was not a happy camper. As of this morning I was at 172.8.

Loss of 5.2 lbs.

I know this is mostly water weight but I will take it. :) I hope everyone has a great week.
