I thought I'd get away with something, but I didn't. I'm up 0.9 with the trip to Atlanta:

4/23/2015 212.5
5/7/2015 213.4 (+0.9)

Oh well, I'm posting here to nip these things in the bud. I put on like 30 after I went full in in 2009. Maybe with diligent attention, I'll be back on track next week; no major harm done.

Congrats to all the losers! Sorry to drive up the totals. I'll try to make it up this week.

I lost 1 pound.

You did good to just gain o.9, Mark. It's tough to eat this way when you are traveling.

I lost 1.2lbs this week, extremely happy because this week was an emotionally stressful one and I fought off my usual reaction of eating away my pain.

Thanks, Jeepsterhound. I'm not beating myself up about it too much. Seems like you haven't crept up at all since you went under 25 BMI. That's fantastic! Good work.

I didn't report in but that's okay - stayed the same this week. Well, actually, I gained 3# after a very off-plan weekend, and spent the whole week getting it back off again! We went to a vegan restaurant on Saturday when they have a buffet - the food was all vegan but wow, do they use the oil, and every dish had some type of meat substitute or tofu in it. That didn't stop me from pigging out :o Then the next day was a family gathering, and I SHOULD have kept myself under control considering how wild I'd been the day before, but instead I rationalized that since I had already blown it for the week I might as well blow it all the way. Then Monday I woke up lol. Knowing I would have to come here to report a gain really helped me all week, since my misadventures woke up some cravings but I fought through them so I wouldn't have to report a gains. Onward and downward!

I just forgot to post Friday, but didn't have a loss to report anyway. In fact, I'm up another pound but hope to lose it by next posting day. Ever hopeful, that's me...

I have rhe same problem with bread. I will bake eggplants in oven, then put them in tupperware, steam will make them soft and use them like bread...

Down half a pound for me...

5/7/2015 213.4
5/14/2015 212.9 (-0.5)

There are a couple of pieces of low hanging fruit ( OK, low hanging processed food if you want to get technical about it,) that can be eliminated from my regular habits, but I'm feeling lucky. Yesterday was our anniversary and our son took us to one of his high-falutin' fat factories for dinner. And I haven't done any of the strength training sessions that I've been planning or increased my mileage, so even no gain would be a lucky break. And some of this flab has been entrenched for a half century, I guess. You can't expect it to give up without a fight. I say keep fighting.

Congrats to all US losers!
