Frozenveg:

Thank you for the PM on the veggies and the blood thinners. I am not tech inclined and I did not know how to answer you back in a PM. I will be having another talk with my doctor about our WOE. Again I want to thank you for all your help not only to me but to all the members of this discussion board. Have a great day. :-D

Went to the UK on business. I was 91.9 kilos last Wednesday. This morning I am 96.1k.
Why? Guinness, bread, meat etc. So we go again. Planning, home-cooked meals and the avoidance of binge eating and drinking. Hmm. Not a happy bunny.

Does anyone know why I am not getting email alerts when new comment is posted even though I clicked on the box that says to alert me?
Also, I'm having trouble logging on tablet. Do we have to have separate passwords for computer and tablets because that's what it seems like is the trouble.
Thanks

Hello everyone,
I know it's late, but I would love to jump in. I enjoyed a great start here last January, but when the thread stopped it was very difficult. Hung on for awhile, but there's nothing like accountability. It really helps.
Have been dealing with thyroid issues and in order to get started on ARMOUR Thyroid rather than synthetic, I had to start from a minimum dose which left me with almost no thyroid support for months. Gained about 16 pounds. Now the dose is higher but still not losing.
Came here with great hope that this thread would be alive again. So I'm very happy to be here if it's not too late for me to join in. Am assuming the weigh in is Friday, so I will post my weight then. Have to lose at least 50 pounds if not more.
So I really need to be here.
We're all in good hands here with Debbie running the ship. So glad to see you back!

Hi MaryAnne
I'm post radiation hypothyroid, as in they nuked it so I'm dependent on thyroid meds for life. I know it can be frustrating to get calibrated. It took me years before I found a combo of natural and synthetic that did what neither could do alone. It IS possible to lose weight with a medicated thyroid. I dropped 40 pounds in 2014 following McDougall, walking 3-4 miles a day and doing 5 days a week of the sweaty kind of yoga. Hang in there. If you just don't feel right demand your TSH and a thyroid panel and demand the meds to make it OPTIMAL, not acceptable limits. Good luck.

Down 1 and a half this week.

1/22/2015 220.6
1/29/2015 219.1 (-1.5)

OK, nothing to notify the newspapers about, but I think 3 weeks in a row qualifies as a streak. Breaking 220 for the umpteenth time since I started this in May 2009. Maybe this time never looking back. Good luck everybody.

Congrats to all us losers!

Glad you are back! I too was disappointed to see the weighs ins gone. A lot of people were. Surprisingly, some that dont even participate. LOL

Goal 156
1/02/15-166
1/09/15-165.4
1/16/15-162
1/23/15-163.4
1/30/15-161.4

Wake up call this week....no more cheating. My cholesterol is 259 and my diastolic pressure is stuck in the high 90s. Either they both come down or I'll have to go on medication and I'm not going to do that sooooooo.....no more cheating.
