Hi Folks,
I joined over the summer and then fell off the wagon and have decided to start it up again.
My weight today is 171.5.
It is kind of a crazy time to start. I pick up my daughter after her first term in college today. She is a great kid. I am hoping for good support.
Happy Holidays.
Michele :-P

Good morning

I'm Down 2.9 lbs this week. I had a good week with soups and MWL recipes, salads and new dressing recipes that are oil free.
Randy is down 1 lb.
12 days until Christmas and we want to keep up our momentum :-D

Debbie, I know what you mean...I lost more than him this week for once, too! Doesn't usually happen. It helps so much though that we're doing this together and I'm glad for all on here for the support :-D

Great momentum going towards the holiDAY!! Let's keep it up.

I havent kept it up, cause I get crazy busy and forget, but there are only 19 days left in 2014! HOW are you going to live those 19 days? There are 2 choices: eating healthy and making strides towards our personal goals OR eating unhealthy saying I can/will start tomorrow. In either scenario, eating has to happen.

I'm down 3.5 lbs from last week! Surely some of that must be water (due to eating less salt?). I really did buckle down, but I've never lost that much weight in a week. But I'll take it! :D What a way to start the day.

Hi Happy Losers:

I am not weighing in these last two weeks for kind of a weird reason - the intensely wet weather here in Northern California!

We have not broken the drought of the last three years, but still my area has not seen this much rain since 1955! From December 1 my town has had more than a foot of water dropped on it and 5 inches of that occurred on December 11th alone!!!

I know weather has a really bad effect on my fibromyalgia and I have long suspected my weight as well. My theory has been when the barometer goes down ahead of big storms - the fibro pain goes way up and so does water retention. Well this has been the perfect chance to test the theory and boy is it ever true. Before the biggest series of storms I gained about 6 pounds in water weight and as the storms have been one after the other I haven't really lost that - though my eating has been pretty much right on target.

Between today and yesterday I gained another two pounds (while the menu was perfect -- oatmeal and kale/ big veggies salad with quinoa/potato and kale soup) and another medium storm will hit today. Next week however is reported to be all clear - so I hope I will be able to report again next Friday and with a huge negative number. It will be water weight for the most part but it will be my real weight compared to this roller coaster of gains and losses due to pressure changes - water retention.

Looks like everyone else is doing great and I'll be back next week along with the return of the sun here in California ;-)

I had a really good week. Five out of seven days of 100% MWL compliance. And I've cut my calories some, too. Less starch, more veggie.

Loss of 4.2 lbs!

It works when you work it. I think I'm finally back on track. :D
