I beat you all this week so far and have lost about 8 pounds in two days!!!

Hehehehe - this is why I didn't weigh in last week because it's been crazy rain for us here in Northern California and due to my fibromyalgia I gain water weight like in the pounds overnight when the barometer is unsteady. Anyway, now I am just a pound up from where I left off before the storms and will be back with you Friday. Hopefully with a good loss number but just against my last posted weigh in figure.

That's from earlier in the week by Christmas Eve I was down 10.4 pounds in a week - I am sure it's water weight. Both Christmas Eve and Day I ate away from home. My Cousin Steve cooked "vegan" for me those days bless his heart, but this is California and wine and olive oil are worshiped - lots of oil and salt on my roasted veggies both days. So I bounced up a pound.

I am still not quite stable and think there is more water weight to go - so I am deferring this week and will weigh with you all again next week.

I did not gain nor lose this week. But, hey, it's holiday time! So I count that as a plus.

I will not be joining next month cause I'll be staying with some folks for several months. They are following the program, so I shouldn't have any problem with it. Will report back and rejoin the group February 1st.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, new year and continued success. Happy McDougalling to all!

Happy New Year everybody!!!!

Thanks Debbie for giving us a 60 day challenge. I wasn't on course as much as I would hope and I was really challenged mentally when I was being good yet the weight was piling on. I had totally forgotten - during our California drought - that my fibromyalgia causes me to pack on water weight when the barometer goes down before storms. Why this is I have no idea - but we have more than a week without rain and low and behold that weight just dropped off steadily day by day.

I ended up loosing 8.4 pounds during this challenge - I was completely blindsided by that- and I have to say excited as all get out in the long run! I have to go back and see what my challenge goals were. I always go optimistic thinking when all things are perfect I can loose 2 pounds a week but realistically it's about 1 a week, when I am not doing major aerobics. I made that just and it feels good.

Lots of folks lost lots of weight during this and it was great to have a really committed group again. Honestly, I don't think I have ever come out of the Holidays without extra pounds! So it's the challenge and I really thank you for it! Oh and my Cousin - great cook that he is made a great couple of vegan dinners for me for Holiday days with family. Some oil but wow - how nice of him to do that :)

It looks like rain again on the ten day forecast next Thursday,    wouldn't you know just in time for our next weigh in and the first of 2015.

Best wishes to you all for the next best year of your lives - Michelle
