I have to state straight up I am NOT a salad lover.
The idea of salad generally leaves me, well, as cold as the salad!
That's why I was amazed as a beginner in the starch solution to make one that I actually wanted to KEEP EATING.
Even in winter!
The secret is the super delicious dressing everyone probably knows about. You don't need much.

Salad:
equal quantities of:
rocket leaves (rucola),
finely shredded white cabbage,
finely julienned carrot
I like to add 1 tsp roasted sunflower seeds.
Crunchy tangy tasty and moreish!
I'll be experimenting with otherveges in this too but so far I'm addicted
