Okay, I don't normally weigh myself every morning, but this is a special experiment week
So there's another pound gone this morning -- of water, I'm sure. But I'm feeling smaller and less bloated -- so whatever it is, I'll take it!
I had no idea I was such a slave to salt!
I just want to get back down to a healthy BMI. I'm realizing there's nothing I won't give up to get there. The truth is, I love food and natural whole food is fine with me. And I don't feel right if I'm not exercising regularly, never have. This whole lifestyle just feels like a return to my natural default settings.

Exercise: 23 mins NordicTrack
Here's what's in the veggie soup if anyone's interested -- inspired by Yomom's thrown-together Instant Pot veggie soup
28 oz can no-salt diced tomatoes
12 or so cups of water and veg broth combined
1/2 cup red lentils
2-4 cloves garlic
1 chopped onion
1 chopped zucchini
a few chopped mushrooms
1 stalk celery, chopped
1-2 cups frozen corn
2-3 cups each chopped green cabbage, kale and yellow potato
1 tsp or so each cumin, thyme, black pepper, red pepper flakes. I also added in liberally: onion powder, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, ground red pepper
I never imagined I'd like a soup without salt -- but I really love this soup. It's filling and *good enough*. I can tell it's going to be a staple while I'm on the MWL plan.
