DirectLabs' current price for Apolipoprotein B (APO-B, which Jeff mentioned) is $69.

Thank you for this great information; I will check it out! Good to know they also offer the APO-B!

There are many other tests you can get through Life Extension/LabCorp that are not listed. You have to call Life Extension and they will check for you but you have to know what test you are looking for.

It is hard to beat their prices on a direct apples to apples comparison (and I have been checking for years).

For instance, their Apo-B test is regularly $28 and on sale for $21. That is $48 less than DirectLabs.
(and no, I am not affiliated with them in anyway nor do I make any $$$ from them).

The best deal is their basic CMP/CBC/Lipid for $26

Walgreens, CVS, Target clinics used to offer a finger prick cholesterol test for more than that.

If you want a little more, their Basic Healthy Aging Panel for $111 is hard to beat.

I was just thinking that if one wanted to try to replicate the bloodwork done at the 10-Day Live-In Program, it seems to me that the basic CMP/CBC/Lipid for $26.25 https://www.lifeextension.com/lab-testi ... blood-test would be similar. Are there any other blood tests done during the 10-Day Live-In Program?

(Disclaimer: I know that usually people's numbers become much healthier during the 10 days and that is why, especially for those on medicines and have known health problems, they should be under a doctor's care while changing their diet to the McDougall Plan as their need for medication will be diminished and if not under the careful eye of a physician, problems could ensue.)

Unless someone posts otherwise, it seems according to this https://www.drmcdougall.com/health/educ ... -progress/ that the above referenced blood test would be more than adequate and would provide all the information about ones blood that would be found if a resident of the 10-Day Live-In Program.
