Dr. Michael Greger and other researchers are quoted in an excellent article about pandemics caused by bacterial and viral pathogens that jump from animals to humans. It's encouraging to see more and more awareness of the risks posed by the ways we humans treat animals and by us eating meat. Maybe real change will happen as a result of increasing awareness of these problems.
