You might have seen the latest "vaccines for cows" effort elsewhere on the forum to try and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Now we have a new take on this theme: a form of seaweed given to cows in their feed instead, to apparently reduce/eliminate their methane:

Like the vaccines, is the concern here again that people will start using it as a way to justify keeping what they're doing? "Good news about bad habits" continues, as Dr McDougall might say.
