Neuralagia Trigeminal any help?

Postby dlee » Mon Dec 24, 2018 4:05 pm

Hi folks just wondering if anyone has experienced facial Neuralagia? And did they have anything that helped or cured?
My husband had the first bout a month ago , we thought it was a tooth problem...severe pain like no other. The dentist could not discover any particular tooth that looked like the culprit. She prescribed antibiotics . and pain killers.
Next bout last night...very severe pain, he took one of the very strong pain killers left from the last time.. woke up not feeling great but the pain diminished. Dentist visit again, no dental problems, the dentist figures it's neuralgia...prescribed B complex for a month Thiamine B1, B6 and B12
We have been Plant based since 2006 eat only healthy veggies, starches and grains, regularly take B12 Methylcobalamine, 1000mcg 2 x per week.
He does suffer from an autoimmune condition called 'Wegeners" altho' it is in remission, Takes Methotrexate,- perhaps this is a further complication.
Just want to know if any one has had similar problems and what their experience has been.
thanks Dlee
