The implications of the recent study (discussed in Jeff’s forum) seem too vague to be personally relevant.
A study specifying THESE factors:
1. The average microbiomial spectrum/concentration of those who strictly follow Dr. McDougall’s dietary recommendations.
2. The specific type of antibiotic and it’s effect on individual bacterial species.
3. The concentration/constituents of the probiotic formula (and it’s relevance to microbiome balance/recovery), and the measured effectiveness of the delivery system.
Might THEN be of interest!
