McDougall in a nut cell

Postby Willijan » Sun Jun 24, 2018 5:35 pm

I'm reading the book, Light of the Stars: Alien Worlds and The Fate of the Earth, by Adam Frank. On page 116 I found a sentence I especially like-- a confirmation of McDougall?

"Sugar, in whatever form, is the basic chemical battery for all the metabolic shenanigans cells need to stay alive." So there, Atkins!

The use of "nut cell" instead of "nutshell" was a pun involving the use of "cell" in the quote from the book. My attempt to be funny.
