I watched it and liked it. It certainly gives a broad overview of the why. Testimonials were good, even though I wonder if some of the cancer claims might be overreaching. the recipe segments were nice too. I hope they do a sequel!

It was really great.. loved Samuel L. Jackson. I loved the part about SOS suppresses the natural killer cells of the immune system. I loved when the doctor upon seeing a tumor he says he sees a symptom. Would be a great movie to be able to watch over and over again. They say in China it is the sticks, in Africa it is the stones, but in this country it is movies that take you to that next place.

I've been really enjoying watching this film until I came to the animals part (which had no warning), had to turn it off as I literally screamed when the disgusting human being slammed the piglet on the ground. I cannot watch it. Please can anyone else who has watched tell me how long is the section about animal welfare? Is there more to watch afterwards with no more distressing images? I will have nightmares tonight

Thank you. I know I sound like a wimp but having spent many years as an active animal rights campaigner I already know the horror but for my own sanity and to avoid ending up in prison I had to stop being so angry and constantly upset about it.

No, you don't sound like a wimp at all. Normally any violence towards a animal i too will turn the film off. With documentrys like Eating You Alive I will fast forward. I was caught by surprise by the podcast suggested on a thread about Dr Neal Barnard's book "The Cheese Trap". There is no greater love than parent and child, and we can't wake up fast enough through animals. We are so blessed to have them. Through our nightmares we create our fondest dreams as the power of dreams we have freewill to redress. The best revenge in life is to be happy and free and setting them free are images that keep us going. No wimps just compassionate beings.
