Some fairly consistent results coming out lately showing "Higher intakes of total and animal protein were both associated with increased risks of T2D, whereas higher plant protein intake tended to be associated with lower risk of T2D"
Interesting results for the folk who believe sugar is the main cause of diabetes (type2)

i suspect that anything without dietary fiber is a contributing factor.

it could be that type 2 diabetes is a disease stemming from inadequate dietary fiber intake.

plant protein is probably ok since it usually comes packed with lots of fiber.

Animal protein comes with a lot of fat. I would think that is the most important difference.
