Cholesterol Increase During Brief Fast

Labs often require fasting for 10-12 hours before cholesterol blood tests. It's know that after 24 hours of fasting, cholesterol rises again after the initial drop. Does anyone know at what point cholesterol typically begins to rise again? For example, would a 14-hour fast (two hours more than is typically recommended ahead of blood tests) result in increased cholesterol test levels?

If anyone is interested, here's the article on cholesterol increases after 24 hours of fasting.
