For me, it absolutley depends on the season. Right now I'm completely obsessed with endive (bot. Cichorium endivia) and chicory sugarloaf (bot. Cichorium intybus). Yum

I like them all. :D
I choose them according to what is in season, looks good, is reasonably priced.
Right now, I'm enjoying Brussels sprouts and broccoli.
Next week it may be something else. :D

I mostly eat leafy greens at breakfast which I mix with rolled oats.
I have tried various leafy greens in this combination but my favourite is chard, followed by curly kale, bok choy and baby spinach.
I also like to use Romaine lettuce leaves as wraps or in wraps.

Can we count courgettes/zucchini as a green? I eat them more than any other non starchy plant food, with the exception of carrots. And they're not green. Well at least mine aren't. :D
Seriously though, love my courgettes. :)

Overall, my favorites are beet greens and chard, but of the brassicas, collard greens, especially when steamed from fresh. I try to eat a brassica leafy green (turnip, mustard, collard, kale, cabbage) every day and spinach several times a week. I'm not counting brussels sprouts as tiny cabbages, because they would win as my favorite in any vegetable category they could compete in.

I like to steam collards and use them as a wrap, like for a veggie burger, or leftover rice dish. I also like beet greens, but only see them available attached to beets. I eat the beet greens, and then get around to eating the beets some time later.
