Instant Pot seekers... might be a real buy today only?

Postby wade4veg » Fri Nov 27, 2015 6:42 am

Look I am not in the market for a Instant Pot, but I see mention of them frequently on this board.
Anyway, I am up much too late looking at all manner of stuff on sale.
Like I said, I use a standard Fagor pressure cooker so I am not in the market for one.

But I see this Instant Pot as the Amazon "Deal of the Day" for $78 and free shipping.

Instant Pot IP-DUO60 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker, 6Qt/1000W, Stainless Steel Cooking Pot and Exterior, Latest 3rd Generation Technology

Perhaps someone is looking for just that and has been waiting for a great price.
I don't know if that is a super deal or close to their regular daily price.
Perhaps it will help someone who is looking and can act TODAY...

PS.. it says "While supplies last" Seems to be lots cheaper than I found elsewhere online in a brief search.

PS, PS, I just looked on Ebay at new ones.. same model with free shipping.. lowest price of completed deals was $100 even.

Thanks for posting. I've been on the fence for years as to whether or not I wanted or needed one - well today, thanks to you, I bought one. Now I'm off to my library's website to order some cookbooks so I'll be ready to cook when it arrives.

The price on that seems to vary greatly depending on which third-party seller it's coming from. I see prices now ranging from $125- $140. The deal price came from Amazon directly, so I'm glad for that as I always feel safer as a buyer in case I need to return something.

Yeah that is a great deal. You can always check the price history of a product sold on Amazon at CamelCamelCamel.com . Looks like it recently dropped from around the $140 mark.

Thanks. I decided to take the plunge and ordered the 6-in-1 from Amazon.ca last night.

Great price. My hubby bought one for me a couple years ago for a gift and paid around $120 :( I'm happy for those of you who got good deals. Just made steel cut oatmeal in my IP this morning!

Wow, that was quick. Amazon has so many new warehouses these days. Probably one near you.

AS to how to use it, Amazon has books specifically for the Instant Pot.
Even vegan books.... even a plant based, oil free, book

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_ ... pot++vegan

http://www.amazon.com/Good-Instant-Meal ... pot++vegan

Amazon... a scary amazing company. The stock was under $1.50 in 1997 and is now over $670...
Lucky for me, I bought a million shares :-D

PS, on YouTube you can find lots of Instant Pot plant based... no oil recipes.
Go to YouTube and enter---> jill mckeever instant pot
please note, some of her older recipes used oil, but now she is oil free. Both types of videos are on YouTube.
