I am 58 years old today. I've been McDougalling since I was 29, so that's half my life!

It seems like stents, bypasses, statins, insulin, etc. are a rite of passage for my contemporaries. I am in great health, no prescription meds at all. I am so grateful that I stumbled onto McD's first book in 1986, and changed my way of eating before I had serious health problems.

My husband will be 71 in a few days. He's been eating this way since he was 47. He lost nearly a hundred lbs, quit his statins, and got his cholesterol down to 134. He takes FloMax (just started a few months ago) but no other prescription meds. He's got more energy than most 30-year-olds!

It works, for life. Thank you, Dr. McDougall!
