Leeks??

Just recorded a video on the lovely leeks.

Do you ever get days where you want more of one particular food?

Here's the video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81pHB_D0WO8.

Thanks for watching,

High Carb Paul.

I love leeks. They go so well with potatoes, don't they?

I "thumbs upped" your video!

It's always nice to have good company on this way of eating, and leeks are a great bonding experience. Leeks and a nice accent!

My garden areas are never in rows or even blocks, they are jungle-ish. But sometimes I like a row of leeks parading thru a mixed planting. They are so stately and beautiful. And the eating is fantastic! I love them best in stew.

I had potatoes and leeks for dinner tonight!

I still have to watch the video...but I had trouble growing leeks last year. I planted a few small ones that my neighbour gave me and didn't water them as much as I should have, I suppose, and they never grew. They didn't die, but they didn't get bigger over the season either.
